I have written this letter of recommendation for Mark Birdling for the following reasons:

I found Mark to be a very honest and open person. He genuinely cares about securing the best price possible for the vendor. Mark also keeps you informed throughout the whole process of selling your property. He goes to great lengths to ensure that you are aware of all options with regards to marketing your property along with the various ways your property can be sold (ie; auction, internet, tender etc). Mark will at no stage push or bully you throughout the process of selling your property, which is something I have experienced in the past.

I have sold several properties over the years and really hate land agents, as far as I am concerned they are as bad if not worse than car salesmen. There is far too many real estate people out there that will tell you what you want to hear with regards to the value of your property in order to secure sole agency.

If your property does not sell quickly they will advise you your asking price is too high, and commence telling you all the reasons why it is too high. In short there is far too many agents around that only care about turning over properties as quickly as possible.

Mark has a very pleasing disposition, is very easy to deal with, and you can have no doubt about Mark securing the best possible price for your property. It is for all the right reasons I have listed that I would not use any other agent than Mark to sell other properties we own in the future.
